Construction update March 16th, 2007

 

 

Sub-zero temperatures in February and two to three feet of snow in March did slow things down a little for us at  East Fork Biodiesel. Todd and Sargent our general contractors were very good about putting a plan together to make up for some of the lost time. Their plan included hiring an additional company, Buresh Builders to help speed up construction. Buresh will construct the pretreatment area of the main building. They have also added more workers to some of the other crews. With all of the crews combined we have around ninety people working together on this project. As we move forward more workers will be added on site as needed.

Painting will be begin this week in our Administration building and carpet will be laid soon after. If you checkout our latest construction photos that were taken on 3/16 you will see that construction is beginning to increase at a rapid pace. Please look forward to monthly updates on construction progress. 

               

Our live webcam is somewhat weather sensitive and does not always work as well as we wish, but it does give you a live picture of what is taking place.
